Red Currant Jelly Recipe
1 liter of Red Currant & 6dl of Sugar
1.Pick and wash the berries and boil them in a jam pot with just enough water so it won't burn
2.Simmer until berries have released themselves from all the juice and strain it all through a jelly bag or piece of cheesecloth.
3.Heat the juice to boiling in the saucepan and heat together the sugar in the oven - to 6 cups sugar 6 dl juices. Pour the hot sugar in fruit juice and boil vigorously until the gel begins to settle, but not more than 20 minutes. If you let the jelly boil for a long time when the sugar is well appointed and darkens it loses both its beautiful appearance and taste. If you have reason to suspect that the juice is the thinnest team and not concentrated enough, so reduce it in about 10 minutes,
add sugar...Good Luck
